An anything Italian car day held at Stanford Hall in the UK at the end of June saw typical English rain.......
Stanford Hall (above left) is always an impressive venue, despite the weather. Numerous Alfa Romeo cars were present, from the latest GTA (below) and 147 (above) through the Alfasud (above), Junior Zagato (left) and Giulia Super (below left). Interesting contrasts were to be found ! | |
Maserati were featuring a
special display due to their anniversary, and a great number of many types
took part, from a stunning early Frua A6 coupé (below) through to
the latest Coupé, the 4.2 just released. Even the venerable Biturbo
(above right) was seen in numbers.

Many other marques were present, as
well as kit cars (three Lancia Stratos replicas above), an integrale powered
Y10 (right) and a Lamborghini Miura (above right).

|
Predictably, fiats were well represented, such as this pretty 124 Spider (above left), Coupé (above) and a Seicento with a slightly (?!) exaggerated bodykit (left). |
